WELCOME to Gateway Skating Club!
We are proud members of Skate Canada and have been operating in the Edmonton area since 1964. We offer recreational learn to skate programs through to competitive figure skating. Our professionally trained and certified NCCP coaches support all our skaters in reaching their full potential at every level.

OUR PROGRAMS
Gateway offers skating programs throughout the year, with our regular season beginning in September and running until May, as well as Spring and Summer sessions. Programs remain open for registration after the start date and are pro-rated.
We offer Skate Canada's Learn to Skate Programs including Pre-CanSkate, CanSkate and CanPower, which are based on Sport Canada’s long term athlete development (LTAD) principles.
FIGURE SKATING FUNDAMENTALS
The Junior Academy (by invitation only) and StarPrep are the bridge programs to Private Lessons. Skaters learn fundamental figure skating skills in a group setting.
FIGURE SKATING PRIVATE LESSONS
We offer Skate Canada StarSkate and CompetitiveSkate programs, which are a combination of group and Private Lessons.
